This is a starting draft. Have it reviewed before you rely on it.
The agreement
These terms cover use of FaithOps at faithops.foundrcode.com. By creating an account or using the service, the organisation and its users accept them.
Accounts
One person, one account. An account may belong to more than one congregation. Whoever administers an organisation is responsible for who they invite and what those people can reach.
What the organisation is responsible for
The lawfulness of the records it keeps, having a basis for keeping them, answering its own members' requests about them, and the accuracy of anything it publishes on its site or sends to its members.
Payments and giving
Where an organisation collects gifts through FaithOps, the money moves between the giver and that organisation through the organisation's own payment provider. We are not a party to it, we do not hold funds, and we are not responsible for refunds, chargebacks or the tax treatment of a gift.
Religious content
Scripture, Qur'an, hadith and liturgical texts are provided from public sources for reference. Translations and gradings are the work of their translators and compilers. The in-app assistant is not a scholar and does not issue rulings; anything binding is for the clergy of the congregation.
Acceptable use
Do not use FaithOps to break the law, to harass anyone, to misrepresent a congregation, or to attempt to reach another organisation's records.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running and make no promise of uninterrupted availability. Scheduled work is announced where we can.
Ending it
An organisation may stop at any time and take its data with it. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will say why.
Liability
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, our liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim.
